Another major vulnerability has been discovered on many of the servers that make up the Internet. This one is being called "Shellshock" because it is a vulnerability in a small piece of software named bash on the servers called a shell. It is used to send commands to the server. Shellshock has the potential to be quite dangerous, but surprisingly does not affect Windows directly (but indirectly it does so read on). Bash is only used on Linux, Unix and Mac. If you own a Mac you should definitely look to see if your computer has been updated.
